An app to make most of your time in The Bahamas

There is so much to do while in the Bahamas – and a new app will help you make the most of your time here.

The Islands Of The Bahamas mobile app includes 16 island guides to download and save, location-based advice, and an interactive map showing attractions, activities, and more.

The free app from the Bahamas Tourist Office is available to both Android and Apple users. Up to six members per family can access the app through Apple Family Sharing.

The Bahamas islands featured in the detailed guides include Nassau/Paradise Island, Freeport, The Exumas, Long Island, Ragged Island, Mayaguana, Bimini, Cat Island, Eleuthera, and Inagua.

Are you looking for luxury Bahamas property on different islands? You can use the app to request to charter a small plane to island-hop and view your shortlisted dream homes from Engel & Völkers Bahamas.

Input your requirements, and you should get a reply within 24 hours detailing times and fees, ready for you to confirm.

As well as the guides, the app gives helpful ideas of restaurants, national parks, historical monuments, and more that are close by your location, so they are easy and convenient to visit. It also provides you with the latest weather forecasts and transport options.

You can also share digital postcards from each island you visit with your family, friends, and contacts.

The app comes just a fortnight after the Bahamas reopened to international tourists. There is now an even greater emphasis on making sure The Bahamas is safe and clean for all to enjoy.
